The celebrated cat burglar known as Catwoman has long been one of Batman’s greatest enemies. As she begins her first ongoing series, however, her age-old sparring partner, Batman, has finally been brought low by the villainous Bane. Bane, who has consolidated his control over Gotham’s underworld, has even succeeded in forcing Catwoman to work for him. But Selina Kyle—Catwoman—is nothing if not independent. Given her long history with Batman, Bane would seem a fool if he thinks he can keep this cat as a pet.
